I'm just a northern boy in Vancouver for the week. I'm currently in the Sunshine Coast, but plan on spending Saturday and Sunday in Vancouver.

I was wondering what the best hobby shops to visit are, as well as any fun activities I could possibly do. Let me know, thanks!

How far down the Coast are you? I'm in Powell River, and there's no stores from here to Vancouver that I know of...lol. I hear Mojo's is a great place (though I haven't been there). I think he is in North Van. I'm sure some of the local guys will chime in soon with good locations for ya.

Mojo's closed a few weeks back. Off the top of my head there's no "must see" stores in the Vancouver area but there are a few around. I'm sure others can direct you to them.

hi there

If you go to Metro-Town in Burnaby there is place inside the mall called Collector's Den upstairs from the Mickey D.

thanks johnnaseri

IMO, Collectors Den is over priced. DO they even sell sports cards anymore? Seems like mostly jerseys/hats/photos.

ANother rip off place is Golden Age Collectibles on Granville Street(downtown Vancouver) They have packs I t hink but you would pay a arm and a leg for them.

On east Hastings there's wally's, don't know the shops name but their prices are ok and the variety is pretty good too although they do sell out quite often. There's also gem mint collectables at kingsgate mall on the corner of broadway and kingsway.
