Info on the 07-08 SPA Sign of the Times set

Hi guys!! I was looking at the latest checklist UD published for that set, to compare with what I've acquired over the years. Turns out that checklist has the following names listed:

ST-DS Derek Sanderson
ST-GC Gerry Cheevers
ST-LS Lee Stempniak
ST-LU Henrik Lundqvist

I've never seen or heard of anyone pulling any of these; problem is, neither did I about the Frolov, Doan and Zherdev, but those started popping out roughly a year after release. So here I am, wondering whether I should start chasing the globe for those too, or if they actually were never produced by UD.

Oh, and of course those 4 are not the only ones I'm missing: I still need the Orr, Lemieux and Gretzky too

I don't remember seeing any of those either. The 2007-08 card year was a bad one for inaccurate autograph checklists and unlisted cards appearing as redemption replacements long after pack-out. Sweet Shot Puck Signings and Ultimate Signatures were two other sets from that year with similar inconsistencies, it's hard to know for sure what exists and what doesn't.

I think UD was trying to make an effort to reduce redemptions by pulling cards from the product entirely if they weren't returned on time, leaving I think Sidney Crosby as being the only redemption seeded into products. Once some of those late cards arrived they leaked them out here and there and gave set collectors nightmares.

The Lemieux was a redemption too; I had a chance to acquire one recently, but UD wouldn't honor it...

I have never seen, or heard of the 2007/08 Henrik Lundqvist SOTT ST-LU. I am guessing it was never produced. That was during the period when Henrik did not sign much for the card companies. I would check with SkyFire47 to see if he has any info on that card. Good luck & if you find it LMK!
