Joe Posnanski had a nice article on MLB.com called irony jerseys.

http://m.mlb.com/news/article/243127660/taking-a-look-at-majors-best-irony-jerseys/

Basically players who were much more famous for being with one or two teams for a long time and then ending their career with a cup of coffee with another team that you can barely remember, or a mid career cameo that lasted only a few games.

Obviously Gretzky and Brodeur as Blues would count.

Here are a few I can think of

Grant Fuhr-Flames and Kings
Ed Belfour-Sharks and Panthers
Jari Kurri-Colorado and the Rangers
Steve Shutt-Kings

You get the idea...so who else can you think of?

My best,

Ken

Not sure if this would count because I'm pretty sure it was more than a few games but Forsberg with Nashville/Philly.

To me he'll always be an Av

There is a few players like that, one of the most famous Bobby Orr with the Chicago Blackhawks

Serge Savard Winnipeg Jets
Rogatien Vachon Boston Bruins
Doug Harvey New York Rangers
Jacques Plante Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins

A few Leafs:

Ron Francis
Alexander Mogilny
Eric Lindros
Joe Neiwendyk
Brian Leetch

Other players with short stints on teams: Terry Sawchuk (Kings, Bruins, and Rangers), Ed Belfour (Panthers), Dominik Hasek (Sens), Bill Ranford (32 games in Tampa, 4 in Detroit), Marian Hossa (Detroit & Pittsburgh), Jaromir Jagr (Boston, Dallas, Philly)

A lot more will probably come to mind.

Luc Robitaille Penguins
Adam Oates Oilers
Peter Forsberg Predators
Mike Modano Red Wings
Daniel Alfredsson Red Wings

Lafleur with the Nords
Bobby Hull, Dave Keon and Gordie Howe as Whalers come to mind to me first but not for most :D probably
Tony O as a Hab
Darryl Sittler as Flyer
Salming as a Red Wing
Bernie Parent and Gerry Cheevers as Leafs
Gartner as a North Star
Paul Coffey as a Whaler (jerk didn't want to be there)
JS Giguere started with the Whalers
Trevor Linden and Wendel Clark with the Islanders

Doug Gilmour with the Habs....and the Sabres....and the Hawks....and the Devils.

As for Linden^^^^I think his time with Washington is the least memorable.
