Is that patch real of fake

Hello all

Im interested in purchasing a Tyler Toffoli FWA Patch/100 off of ebay. I found one that was put up for auction not too long ago, that Im interested in, however I have my doubts about the patch being tampered with. Realistically, I doubt many people are faking a Toffoli patch. Also, since SPA was released just a week or 2 ago, I highly doubt the patch fakers went ahead and landed a plain white one and swapped it out so soon.

I'd say it's legit.

It is a real patch, it could be some expensive card if you decide going after it.

I agree in the sense that no one really should be faking a Toffoli patch, but since this is his second year IIRC, I dont recall the Kings using those jerseys, those jerseys were used a number of years ago, am I out to lunch?

Don't forget though that these are likely photoshoot jerseys, not gamers so any type of jersey is possible.

He was drafted in 2010 when the Kings still used the black and purple crown jersey and had the current "LA" jerseys as their 3rd.

If I remember correctly, that exact card was pulled from a SPA case Group Break on C&C, as many people were excited about the patch, & Brad had said something to the tune of "If I hadn't pulled that patch live online, everyone would think it's fake."

Case in point. LOL.

I would be totally fine in saying that's real. I wish I remember which break it was, so I could link the video of it being pulled for you, but there are so many to sort through.

Never said it was game used, but that the year Toffoli was drafted, the jerseys the Kings wore that season were the purple trimmed ones as in your link and that's what UD/Panini had at their rookie photoshooots. So if anyone is expecting black/white/silver patches from the current "LA" jerseys for Toffoli you're going to get disappointed

Ahh got it. I was pointing it out because sometimes the jerseys worn at the photoshoot, even if they are in the same season, are not the same as the jerseys worn in game.
