Is the Spring Expo worth it?

I live in Philadelphia and am considering going to the Spring Expo. It will be about a 9 hour drive. From people who have been there, is it worth the trip?

i completely agree with Vegas! Both are awesome...but the fall is WAYYYYYYYYYY better!

I drove 19 plus hours to make my first expo; which was the spring version. Only spent 5 hours there on Saturday, and loved every second. Next time would like to go all 3 days. Bring lots of cash and a good attitude, and u won't wanna leave. Have a good triplol

While the Fall may be better for the reasons stated, generally, I'd argue that they're equally awesome.

The Expo is the largest hockey card event in the world held twice a year at the International Centre. You won't find more hockey cards anywhere else under one roof.

It's always great and well worth it. I'd agree that the fall version is better with the release of UD1 and ITG Ultimate but Spring Expo is fun as well

I've been to both and I can say that it really all depends what you're after. Fall has UD1 and Ultimate as well as all the stuff being moved from the release of The Cup. But for me, I don't really care about that kinda stuff so Spring is just as good. It's about meeting people and just spending time looking at everything, maybe grabbing a few things and busting a bit.

All in all, it's fun as hell and I know I'll be there.

I have been making the 8 hour drive with a few friends for about 3 years now. I have had a great time every single time no matter if it is Spring or Fall.

And if this is going to be your very first expo.....the last thing you will be worried about is how long it took you to get there. It will be well worth it!

Both are amazing... Fall usually has better signing guests... But both are well worth the time. I drive 5 hours (I know not as long as 9), but still well worth the effort.
No matter wether it's the spring or fall, you'll always leave wishing you had more time/money to see everything.

Both Expo's are great. I find the spring expo is not as strong as the fall expo due to the release dates of products.

A note: Please do not base your experience on food because it is **** at both expos LOL

I'm lucky enough to live about an hour away and have been to both, both are great, the Fall Expo seemed more busy but I enjoyed both.

Both expos are great, no matter what you will enjoys yourself.

Both are fantastic. Make the drive. Even though the stuff mentioned above comes out in the fall......... it's still there in the spring!!!!!

For me personally, I like both the expos, Its always great to meet new members and see old ones, You can truly make some solid friendships with a lot of these members and also find gems and pieces to finish your collections
The best part of this hobby is to have fun, and meeting or catching up with members on here is always fun. If you make the trip, come out to the pre expo dinner that is usually held on the thursday before the expo starts. Its a great way to meet members and can also be an Ice breaker.,

More say the Fall is better, so hit the spring one, getting a feel for it then get prepped up for the Fall
