Is there a player on your team who you feel should have a card by now?

This is probably more for team collectors than anyone but is there a player on your team who hasn't received a card yet that you feel should have? I ask because Jan Hejda has played two seasons with the CBJ now and still hasn't had a card produced in the CBJ jersey.

If he was a poor player I would understand but he's played surprisingly strong for the Bluejackets the last two seasons yet still nothing card wise. Before the checklists for the new releases began coming out I thought for sure he'd be in UD series I this year.

At this point I figure his only chance is to either have a card in series II or OPC. So is there a player on your team who you think has been overlooked when it comes to card production?

Langenbrunner hasn't had anything but base in opc and ud, it would be nice to have a auto or jersey/patch by now.

more tomas kaberle!!!!! he's been a multi time all star and i don't think he has any patch cards or game used cards for that matter and only has a couple of autos..

Jersey or patch cards of Mathieu Schneider. There aren't any produced until now.

Does anybody know what the process is for how they choose which players get cards? Obviously, with the high end sets they are only going to include the most popular players because people spending that kind of money really aren't going to want to pull anything else but high end players.

I wonder though, when it comes to sets like OPC and UD ,which have a larger selection of players, how do the decide who gets in and who doesn't?

Kris Versteeg doesn't have a single UD GU card yet.

UD always seems to diss my team year after year.
They had a great thing going with Smytty and Hemmer, plus the ever so predictable tandems of Kurri/Fuhr/Anderson/Ranford yearly patch and auto releases.

But I feel it is kind of crazy that they don't make patch cards or auto's for other players on the team like Souray, Visnovsky, Moreau, etc. At least one of these players deserves some sort of memorabilia card...at least once in their current career anyways.

Some Derek Joslin jerseys or patches.he probably wont have any other cards.
