I have been on vacation off and on since Christmas. So I have been using some time to run a few auction on the Bay.First lot of auctions closed on Jan.3rd/06.A certain person bought a card and has yet to pay.It is only about $10.00 with postage. But it is over two months and no payment. So on Feb.6th/06 I had some more auctions close and the same person won another item.It has only been a month on that item but no payment on it either.Again not a lot of money.Maybe $6.00 or so.The guy has perfect feedback. He has had 180 positive feedbacks since the first item that he has not paid for.I see one of his positive feedbacks is with one of our moderators here on HI.I have asked several times about payment.Always an excuse. So I told him that if payment was not received today than I would leave the proper feedback.I do not want to be his first negative. But I also do not believe that he is being fair with me.I really do not care if he buys the items. But at least have the guts to tell me that he no longer wishes to make the deal. So,what do you guys think.Should I go ahead and leave the two negatives or just chalk it up as another ebay dead beat bidder.Thanks,Winston.

PS;Should I have placed this in the good/bad trader section??

if you leave the negs, he will too.
Ebay ****s. We know it and ebay knows it too. Until people stop using it, they wont change anything because they dont have to.

Block them from bidding on anything else, tell them to stop bidding because you like deadbeat free bidders and chalk it up to a lesson learned.

File the Non Paying Bidder Alert (NPBA). Wait the 7 days required, then file the Final Value Fee (FVF) credit. Once the person gets 3 FVF filed against them, then they get NARU'd on eBay.

I usually do the NPBA, then FVF, then leave negative, then block the user from bidding on my auctions.

I agree that it really will not gain me anything as far as leaving a negative.Except a retalitory negative from him.Thanks,Winston.

well put jaywings19 I was going to suggest the same file the non pay and atleast get your fees back and listing money. Tom makes a good point as well if you leave negative you can bet they will do the same so if you want to avoid neg. left for you then I would not leave one for them. I have found in some cases but not all that once I file the non pay----money seems to arrive as they can get kicked off the bay...jason

I am past the 45 days for filling a NPBA on the auction that closed on Jan.3rd/06.I guess it doesn't pay to trust people.I just filed on on the auction that closed on Feb.6th/06.

i hate that.

the only neg i have is from a guy that retaliated on me. apparently after 2 months of giving me the run around *before* refunding my money, i didn't have the right to neg him.

i like the traders on here... but i also like watching my ebay feedback climb.

on the plus side - you DO get to keep your cards, and you're not out. i've been shafted on the other end (a non shipping seller?) and that's what ****s.

Negative feedback ****s...so wait until the last possible day then hit him with it......don't worry about ruining his "reputation"...he's already done that himself. But at least by leaving negative feedback, you are warinng others about his behavioral patterns. You say his feedback is perfect, but who's to say that he hasn't done this before, and that seller was afraid to leave feedback too? At least by waiting to the last day, there's an outside shot that he won't have time to retaliate, and you are giving a warning to everybody he deals with in the future.

When I seen that one of our moderators had left him positive feedback I thought ah at last he will pay.no such luck.Just a lot of lies and broken promises. How long is the waiting peroid for feedback.i see that with filing a NPBA it is 45 days.I know that it has been since Jan.3rd for the first transaction.Probally too late for that one.
