I'm curious if there are a lot of people into football cards. It seems like there isn't a lot of interest. I only come to this site and the beckett site. I started to pick up some Calvin Johnson stuff last year and it was pretty cheap for what I got(autos and patches). Is it just this particular site that is lacking in football or is this just how it is?

I think there is a strong interest in football. I do a lot of card shows in my area and even though football season is over, there are a lot of collector's going after their favorite player or team. Now is the time people want to buy them cheap before the season starts again. From what I've seen, these players are rising in interest (for some odd reason)

Chris Johnson, RB
Felix Jones, RB
Matt Moore, QB (Starter now that Jake is gone)
Kevin Kolb, QB (starter for the Eagles, I guess)
Donovan McNabb, QB (Starter for Redskins)
Brandon Marshall, WR (Traded to Miami) I sold a $20 AUTO for $28 last night!
Aaron Rodger, QB Autos
Jermichael Finley, WR Autos (WR for Packers)
Ray Rice, RB (Great 2009 season in stats)
Drew Brees, QB Autos (In New Orleans Saints Uniform), selling for book or more!
All Saints Players, Super Bowl Champs
Colts and Peyton Manning (QB) Autos
DeSean Jackson (WR) Autos

I noticed a lot of customers are asking for Emmitt Smith, John Elway and Dan Marino Autos also.

Some folks are investing in Matt Stafford Autos and Shonn Greene Autos.

These are all just my opinion, of course!
