Is there something better than Photobucket?

I use Flickr. Super easy to navigate and post to forums. A lot of collectors use their Flickr Albums as the “new” Photobucket to sort their traders, PC Cards, etc. I’d recommend it.

I also use Flickr, and love it. My question to you would be, do you need a third party hosting site to post images to other sites like HI, or do you just want a site where you can organize your collection and have the images available to others. If all you want is a place to park your scans then I would also highly recommend Weebly. It is very easy to use and organize large numbers of cards.

Technically you could also use your Weebly site to organize your collection and use it as a hosting site as well to post images to other forums like this one by copy/pasting the Image Address after cliking the Insert Image button on here which sourrounds the link with the
codes.

For example, I'll post an image from your site, Al.

No Flickr needed. But Flickr is great for mass uploads at once and I do see the purpose of it. But by having one site of your own, you don't really need Flickr at all.

Flickr was great until they put a 1000 picture cap and force you to pay after to go over.

If/When I reach that limit (I'm at 900 or so now), I'm just going to start hosting & posting images from my very own Weebly website that I have up and running. No limit on there.

I can just create a Traders page and post all my scans up there. If I need to post to a forum from my site that's easy, too. I should just be doing this now.

Yeah I use weebly as well, need to figure how to work the pictures better on each page, just a lot more time consuming than something like flickr. Although it's not a bad idea to use flickr for trader pics and weebly for PC.

That's pretty much where I'm at now with my Flickr page. Everything is still on my Flickr Albums (PC/Traders/Other), but I'm slowly making my Weebly site my "everything space" when it comes to how my card collection is represented, shared, and stored online. www.creasecollector.weebly.com (Please let me know if you have any feedback for me on how to make my site better!)

Setting up your site can take time, but once you've set it up and you know what you want to do with it, it's smooth sailing from then on. You can't do mass uploads all at once like you can with Flickr, but in my opinion the flexibilty Weebly has to do what you want and how much you want with it makes using a platoform like that worth it.
