Is this a fake patch?

No, that's from the shoulder patch. I guarantee it's fine. I've seen many Little Cup cards and own some nice ones myself so I know what the patches look like. There's actually many much nicer ones than this. I almost bought that card when it was first sold on ebay (to the current seller).

How often players like Little (no offense, but he's not THAT big name) have their cards counterfeited? Is it reliable at all to tell that "ok, it's not Crosby, Ovechkin etc. so it's not fake"?

Sorry for stealing the topic a bit.

there seems to be a market for most every player. i collect Jay McClement, and who would expect a fake patch of him? someone may take a patch card with a single color swatch and trade it out for one with 2+ colors/breaks and i would prolly jump on it. don't underestimate player collectors... and i am sure that Little has some collectors beyond his immediate family.

Sure he does. But it still doesn't change the fact that if Little and Ovechkin made /25 made patch card in the same set, the prices differ "a bit" from each other.

Little was a pretty big seller last year. His cards rocketed in price for a period of time.

You would be surprised at the players that are faked.
