Is this a sticker auto or hard-signed?

Hey guys, I think these are hard signed but this particular card looks like it may be a sticker?? There seems to be an outline around the auto. Or is that just the spot where they didn't apply gloss?

Looks like it's on card...they may have "dulled" the area for him to sign it.

i feel like it isn't a sticker. The top of the P in the auto sticks up above the serial number. So that would mean the sticker was lying on top of the SN. Never seen that happen before.

I think hard signed, I saw a Messier in person and it was hard signed.

As a side note...does it concern anybody else that a hard signed multi-colored dual patch auto of Patrick Roy /10 doesn't even command $150 anymore?

Roy now has soooooooooooo many autos and patch cards out now. That has saturated the market and lowered the prices. Prices in general are lower in today's markets for all trading cards.

When Messier hardly signed, his autos were higher priced. Now that he is in a lot more products, his auto card prices have dropped. Saturation. Roy is in the same boat...has a ton of autos and patch cards available across many products.

I also think it is a little bit due to the fact he is now retired and that his wins record was surpassed by Brodeur.

Funny, when I saw this exact pic posted in the break thread I was looking at the Roy closely trying to figure out if it was a sticker.

If UD gets a hold of a Habs Roy jersey, the prices will go back up somewhat. He's safely back in the family now, and all of this Avalanche stuff just doesn't have the same appeal.
