I already have the hockey buzz going with the apparent roll-out of the new season, and was thinking about the draft coming up (not sure of the date, but is important for this idea).

Is anyone interested in having a draft selection pool? Here is what I mean:

Anyone interested in joining up, has to state who he thinks will get the first three picks in the first round, and he must pick them in order (ie 1st-Buffalo, 2nd-Carolina, 3-Washington). If he gets all 3 correct, then he wins the pot.

The pot is the collected entry fee. The entry fee is not money, but rather one hockey card with a minimum value (ie bv $20). So the winner could get a pile of very nice cards.

I'm not particularly good at organizing this kind of thing (insert sarcasm as deemed necessary), but I think it could be a lot of fun.

Things I am not sure about are:
-is there a limit on how many entries per person?
-should each person's picks be public before the others pick?
-should the person state not only his picks, but what card he is using for entry (I think this is best)
-does each person mail their entry to the winner on their own, and if so, what is the recourse on people who welch?
-what is the deadline for the picks?
-what is the ruling if nobody gets it exactly right (how do we determine the winner in this case)?
-what is the bv for entry?

Anyway, if someone else has already got something going, just ignore me ;) I seem to be doubling up a lot lately LOL!

Comments guys?

Glenn
