Is this UD Redemption Replacement fair????

I had this outstanding Redemption for a very long time:

9/19/2010
2009-10 NHL OPC PREMIER PREMIER STITCHINGS AUTO #'D TO 25 CD# APS-SY STEVE YZERMAN

Since I had not seen any Yzerman Autos from UD for 6 months - I decided to ask for a replacement.. with the stipulation that it had to be either Yzerman or Gretzky or Howe and also be 'hard signed and #/25 or less like this one was. (This was a manufactured Patch hard signed to #/25).

I requested the replacement on 9/1/11.
After calling twice to see if there was any movement on it - I saw the status change on 12/12. Cool I think - they are rolling out Yzerman autos left and right now. maybe I get the original card - maybe another piece.


Today this replacement is in the mailbox.

While I like the The Cup Enshrinement's Auto and I do not own this particular piece...... I am a little peeved that a hard-signed non-jersy auto #/25 of Yzerman was replaced by a hard-signed non-jersy auto #/50.

So since UD Customer Service is closed (or not answering) and most likely will not be there tomorrow or maybe even next week - I leave it up to the experts at Hobby Insider!!!!

What says you???????

My thoughts exactly. I' d take the hard signed auto from the Cup any day.

Seems like a reasonable, fair replacement to me and UD nailing two-thirds of your (somewhat demanding) criteria is a win in my books.

I voted for number three just to **** up your numbers, but I'll tell you that I thought those Premier Stitchings cards looked like it came out the other end of a dog. You got the better deal with the Stevie Cup Auto.

Thanks for the comments - I realize that a lot of people are looking at the OPCP Manufactured card as 'fugly' but I approached it more from a standpoint of being a Yzerman Auto collector point-of-view'. There are more than a few of them out there - and I am thinking that the #/25 is going to be a lot harder than the The Cup piece to add to my Yzerman Auto Collection.


Now - back to the suity bashing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in the "don't be upset" group Bruce...those OPC Premier "fake" patches are nowhere near as nice.

I think you got a higher numbered, but MUCH BETTER card. Those holofoil Enshrinements cards are MUCH prettier than the bogus manu-phony patches in OPC Premier..
