this signing couldn't hurt them. they're not locked in past next year, they need all the help they can get, and with a core of young players in okposo and bailey and possibly tavares coming up, leaving the leadership to the veterans and letting the young ones do their thing is smart.

This is a good signing for the Isles. They have so little talent, so Weight is actually one of their better players. I don't see anything wrong with this deal.

Yeah who really cares about the signing. Like another poster said, all he brings is leadership. In some way I'm surprised guy's like him and Tkchuk are still playing. They've long seen better days.
