I'll echo what everyone else is saying, and I'm glad Marty gets it. It could've gone any number of ways, but for the low low price of a few minutes of his time, he left a lasting impression that meant the world to you and justified your loyal and passionate collecting of him. That's a great story and your excitement is contagious.

Great story, hockey players are the best.

I've had the luck to meet a few guys. Had a beer with Odjick at a nucks game. Best was, had seats beside Fleury at a Raptors game. Spent the whole game BSing about hockey. Great guy.

I saw this tweet too and was wondering where in Buffalo he was, but didn't have the time to research but I'm glad you did and got to meet him, and glad he was such a cool dude!

Same thing happened to me with Joe Sakic a few years ago, was here coaching his kids team at Nichols and I managed to find out when they played, was like 1 of 8 people in the entire rink and he was super cool about signing a few things and having a quick chat.
