In the most recent update, ebay announced:

"Introducing Spendable funds

In the coming months, sellers will be notified that they have the option to use the earnings from their sales to fund their eBay purchases—without waiting for a payout to their bank account. "

So now it's become more like paypal, for those who want to use their available funds to pay for items rather than waiting to deposit the funds to our accounts and then spending it.

I still buy and sell on there frequently.

Still getting good attention to my listings and great final prices.

Sure the fees are a bummer but I get to move a lot of stuff that doesn’t move on the forums and Marketplace.
