Sure it is...Brian Gray has been doing it for quite some time now under the Leaf/Razor brand.

wow. to say it looks interesting is a huge understatement. Price point on it will determine if I get a case or 1 pack. Either way I'll have to bust it.

Nice one Brian, lol! I love the concept and I love the rookie aspect of this product. I just heard the NHL and NHLPA let out a collective 'Oh c%$#!'. Going to have to open a bit of this one. :goal: -Mike

Wow, I really like what I see of Forever Rivals. It's a nice idea to show previews from that product far in advance: it gives me a good reason to avoid products from other card companies and save my cash for this fall!!

I'm really curious about the Buy-Back product. I might try one pack as I do with most newer ITG products.

Did I spy mention of a Peter Zezel cut auto? I like! The other stuff is pretty dope too! (do the kids still say dope?)

That is big news! A shot at some of the most important cards in our hobby's history should drive this one.

I cower at the potential pricetag ...but admit now that I would rather open a pack of the History of Hockey than the Cup, Dominion or anything else high end and more than $300 a pack or box. I'm legitimately excited for more details surrouding that product.

I'm curious about the price tag too.

The product looks to be limited to 4000 packs, which is higher than the numbers for Superlative (BBR was limited to only 1000 books, and Superlative II to 2500 books).

4000 packs is the same number for the Flyers product, and for Captain C, which were around the 100$ mark.

Oh wow...

I think I've never been more excited at the sight of hockey cards...

Forever Rivals? I'll need to count the number of cases I'll be able to pay for...

Then you have this ridiculous History of Hockey product... I just can't wait to see this happen. Well done Sir, well done...

Dr. P, Congrats on the sell out... Just a thought regarding the History of Hockey product.... Leaf's success is in large part to the slabbed cards are typically high graded examples. If you were to strike a deal with BVG/BGS or PSA, I think this would be a VERY hot product.

+1

I suspect any vintage collector who would pull any of the vintage rookie cards would break them out of the ITG slabs and send them in for grading. (at least if they were looking to move the card at maximum value)

I think it's limited to 1000 packs actually, considering the cards appear to be numbered out of 4000 total.

That would denote 100 of the Hockey Moments cards /10, 1000 rookies total, 1000 PSA/DNA autos and 1000 buybacks.

There's bound to be some sadface pulls, but the hit potential is huge and more intriguing to me than any other hockey set I think I've ever seen. I'm looking forward to more information as it comes out. I'm assuming it's probably going to be a Fall Expo product unless I missed the release date while I was reading through.
