ITG Canadiana

ha ha. No I don't think Gino is who Brian Price is waiting on but I also agree that it would own if he was in the set.

Maybe a Cory Hart auto (with him in dark shades)

Anyone heard anything recently about whats going on with Canadiana. If they were only waiting for 1 person to send their auto stickers back it shouldn't have taken over a month to ship them back to ITG from Europe. Can't wait an longer for this product. haha

Everything has been returned safely and we are ready to pack out the product.

With the National this past weekend and our Update Set coming out in about 10 days, it looks like we will be releasing the product around Labour Day.

A newsletter will be sent out when the final release date is chosen.

Thanks for asking.

Brian Price

Thanks for the update Brian, I can't wait, seems like that case has been on order forever! Timing's perfect too, hopefully I've finished my Decades chase in time to pick a set from this to work on.

....next you're going to be begging for the inclusion of the West End Girls. Sheesh.

Don't knock them...they may be forgotten now, but they were quite hot back in 1991 and 1992...mmmmm...Aimee Mackenzie...

Brian, how about adding the West End Girls, Boulevard, Chilliwack (lead singer Bill Henderson is the father of WEG Camille Henderson) and bands like that to the list?

Is this the wrong time to admit "Not like kissing you" is on my iPod's 90s playlist?

WEG might've been the cheap man's Wilson Phillips, but well, they were slightly better than Expose.

I can do without West End Girls' autographs...it would've been cool to see Doug and the Slugs, but alas...RIP Doug Bennett.

Can I make a suggestion for any Canadiana sequels? Can we get something with themes pertaining to specific TV shows? I've got bits and pieces of autos of people that appeared on Canadian TV shows and signed in other sets, but I'd love to see something centered around famous Canadian TV shows themselves in a future edition.

Just a word to the wise, ANYONE opening this product better have a good look at the checklist today before spending your hard earned dollars. The autograph checklist has had a huge make over dropping many key names in my eyes.

I'm more then disappointed to see this. ITG is sinking to new lows.

There's six or seven I don't recognize, but where else are you going to get a Rich Little, Elvis Stojko or Stompin' Tom Connors auto? ITG is doing for Canada what Donruss did for Americana - ever check out their auto list?

Sorry Bruce, but I did check out the checklist and it's missing Kiefer Sutherland, Michael J. Fox and Georges St-Pierre among others that were originally listed on the checklist.

I know what subject to change means, I'm just disappointed because I did'nt expect that from ITG.

Not to mention the delays with this product(May-July-now september). Cards that are still listed on Canadianas' home page that were never included in the product. Including a picture of a subset that does'nt exist.

I'm not starting a bashing thread, or at least that's not my intent.

I was excited at the chance to add a Michael J. Fox or Kiefer Sutherland autograph to my collection, and to break some of this product. I'm very disappointed with they amount of changes this set has undergone now that it's live and the final checklist is posted.

Geoff

this product had a weak auto checklist for the cost per box as it was. I was only interested in 4 or 5 as it stood. michael j fox was one of them. Sad to hear that card wasnt produced

I opened 3 packs so far, and I really like it.

By the way, is there a meaning to the card color for the autographs? I know the base set has red, blue and onyx parallels, is it the same thing with autos? What's the print run of those? Dr. Price? :-)

I cracked three today...will get posts up later.

Box 1 highlights were a Rich Little Between the Seams auto, Shawn Sipos Memorabilia piece and a Bret Hitman Hart Auto

Box 2 was Dave Thomas Memorabilia and two Autos Paul Henderson and Scott Niedermayer

Box 3 was Dual Memo Shatner/Little, Manon Rheaume piece and Margot Kidder auto.

I do like the product but .... Dr Price (this is my opinion) did NOT like seeing the hit on the top of the cards when I opened the box...Its much more fun to have the cards in my hand and be thumbing thru them and see the "good stuff".

Agreed... I got a box in for review (posting later today) and thought the exact same thing!

If you're moving your Henderson, I'm interested ;)
