ITG Decades - The 80's

Anyone have any info on this product outside of what ITG has released in the email they sent out? I am wondering what type of price point it will be, how many cards per pack, how many packs per box. This product has me very excited, I am really looking forward to it....plus hard signed autos:beer:

I would guess that the price point would be very similar to the H&P and BTP.I know that 09-10 "1972 Year in Hockey" was very similar.

I was wondering if it was similar to those, my first thoughts was that it would be like the 1972 set. I was hoping that it wasn't like superlative as that stuff is out of my budget.

This set looks awesome.

Decades - The 80's will be released in June 2011 to coincide with the Summit Show in Edmonton. "Decades has "hard-signed autographs and we were having a challenge getting all of the players cards back for a March release" said ITG President, Dr. Brian H. Price "by releasing the product in June we will insure collectors with a great checklist and no redemption's."

This is going to be really special for collectors at The Summit, we're excited about this. Hard-signed autographs and in addition, no redemptions!

Quite disappointing that ITG would use the same photography from 1972 for 1980. Nystrom, Trottier, Clarke and Barber looked substantially different in 1980!!

These are likely preliminary mockup images. They have a pretty good track record for being era-appropriate so I'm betting that the photos will be different on the actual cards.

I just read Dr. Prices blog and he has announced that they got the FULL 1980 US Team to sign!!!

I'm really excited to put together that set of autos!

I know I will be ordering my case(s) limit on these and any extras if I am able to. Anything that has the Miracle Team in it is a must for me. Been waiting for another product with The Miracle Team since 04-05. Can't wait for June release time.
