I usually don't buy high end packs, but I thought I would give International Ice a try. Let me know what y'all think. I only baught one pack. But, my oppinion is that for $90+ a pack, this product BLOWS! The selection of players isn't bad, but for a premium product the design was executed poorly. Here is what I pulled.

Base Cards:

#9 Marek Schwarz
#122 Rick Middleton (The photo on the front of this card looks like a bad Xerox job!)

Game Used:

GUJ-10 Jay Bouwmeester (Red Swatch)

Auto:

A-GA2 Glenn Anderson (This card's photo is also really bad)

Dan Dan Dan:

I have to diagree with you I love this product. Granted your break was not fantastic but still not bad. Did you get it at Derek's? Does he have an open box of it?

BTW Did I trade you a Ted Kennedy ITG sig series alumi auto?
I had it at Derek's show and now I can't find it.

Thanks
Ken

Ken, Yes Derek has a box and some packs! No, we didn't trade at the show, and I don't recall seeing that card. Hope you find it!

Did you by chance make the show at the mall? If so was it good?

Autoed and base cards aren't really sharp looking, but from what I saw, GU is really nice looking.

Also, the odds of pulling a GU or autograph of those Soviet stars are good.

I'm not able to buy cards right now, but as soon as I'll get back into the hobby, I'll be in the market for a Tretiak GU for sure.

For sure, you didn't do really great for 90$, but would you have done better with a pack of UD Ultimate?? GU from International Ice is really, really sweet.

I think part of your dissatisfaction might be that you were overcharged for the pack. The Suggested Retail Price is $80 a pack and most places are selling it much cheaper than that. Mike

You might be right. But there aren't to many places in Albuquerque that sell hockey cards, and the few that do generally will not pack things out.

I hear ya. Same deal here in Georgia. Mike
