He is entitled to open up a poll. I don't see anything wrong with doing so.
Let the man have his voice and let's keep this clean boys. There is nothing mandating you to read this thread. It ain't a sticky! lol

Considering what ITG has brought to the table over the years, and the kind of dirty tricks their competition has pulled, I'm going to give them a pass on this one and let it slide. There are far worse things in this hobby to be accused of.

I find lackey (some not all of course) UD nutthuggers more repulsive than anything ITG has ever done. As a matter of fact I'd like to thank ITG and Dr. Price for helping me acquire real hockey memorabilia to my collection ;)

Dr Price actually knew who all the players were that went into his product. Unless they are currently top ten at their position and the draft or they have recently played for either the Ducks or Kings it is hit and miss with the UD staff. That's all you need to know.

I wouldn't say "crossed" a line... I would simply say that a new line was drawn based on an unprecedented situation.

Just as repulsive is the last 10 years of listening to the tales of woe from ITG and the constant need to take childish shots at the competition for the very things that Brian has now done. Outright hypocritical and laughable. Add to that when issues arose with ITG product ( 2008 Warping card stock issues, Forever Bubbles...I mean Rivals autographs issues, etc) Brian was to say the least abrasive and very much in denial that the issues existed until it was shown outright...then it was time to look for a free pass.

Before I get grouped in with your so called "nuthuggers" I would add I was once one of the biggest supporters of ITG around until the previous mentioned attitudes started surfacing. All companies should be accountable for their actions regardless of past performance.

ITG would have been best served by continuing to do what they once did....produce quality products and dropped the rhetoric that had caused a lot of ill will amongst collectors (even the long time ITG guys).

Optics are everything. The header to this post is VERY inflammatory, insensitive to many ITG collectors here who count Brian as a friend to THIS hobby, and quite frankly, insulting. Of course you don't want to 'promote discussion here', insult someone and go unchecked seems to be the order of the day here. Just a couple months ago another similar thread, but without a poll, got this response from an admin here on H.I.;

'Colour this thread and topic done.

Any further ventures down this road will garner a suspension or becoming banned.

FYI, I am neither pro or anti ITG.

I am only pro H.I.'

And yet here we are again... Can we please stop beating up on ITG? Stop taunting Dr. Price into responding? Frankly, if this earns me a suspension I will gladly take it because this is just wrong on so many levels. All it will end up doing is causing more negative posts.

Holygoalie it sound like you have some deep seeded anger/frustration issues. At this point it seems a lot more people are fine with the release of these cards. Why you so mud?

Could not have stated it better...

I must have missed the taunting... I do not expect at this point that he will ever post on the subject, the damage has been done and cannot be reversed. It would be nice if he were to at least make an attempt to have any unsold stock have some kind of stamp added, even what has been sold to the big 3.

Thank you Sigmund Freud, but I am neither angry nor frustrated as you misdiagnosed. But rather, perplexed as to why it has to be a daily non stop ITG bash here on this site?

I must have missed the taunting...

noun
1.
a remark made in order to anger, wound, or provoke someone.

The header itself is a taunt with Dr. Price's name in it and fits the bill for the word 'taunt'. You're welcome.

I'm just wondering how there's a poll with only those two options, did I miss something where it was proven that DP sold cards not previously released? Or is this just the assumption based on cards being out there with no true explanation as to how they got there?

I'm not taking a side, I'm just wondering where the proof is to even have a poll?

I'm thinking the actual hobby people are into is feeling entitled and angry as opposed to enjoying cards... yeesh.

A question is not a "remark" as you are trying to state. I agree it could have been worded differently or a better question should have been asked in my opinion such as should the back-stock inventory have been marked in some way to differentiate between the pack pulled cards.

I voted disagree because card companies have done this in the past with their old stock.

It doesn't change the odds of finding cards in a pack if you were to buy it. In fact, it sort of gives you an outlet to be able to get something without having to go and buy boxes.

I don't agree with the notion that one person should own all copies of a limited edition card.
