ITG Stick Rack set = done....FINALLY

One more set that I completed during my hiatus was the Stick Rack set from 2006-07 ITG Ultimate release. I was missing only one of the cards, but it was a total pain to locate - the Vezina/Roy/someoneelse /9. After much searching if appears on Ebay over the summer with a higher price than I was willing to pay, so I passed. It went unsold, but it relisted for a price that I liked...but I forgot to ever bid on it and it ended - thankfully still unsold. It then listed a third time at yet another price reduction and I made sure that I picked it up. Again, thanks to seveal members of the HI community for putting several of these into my collection. Special thanks to ITG for coming up with such a cool concept - the combination of players is unbelievable and the selection of stick pieces equally impressive. As with most sets I try to build, I have a few duplicates of the ones I like best, but sadly just one of the Vezina/Roy/Plante...but hey, one is good enough for me . Thanks for the comments. This was a set that immediately jumped out to me as unique and a challenge to complete. Didn't hurt that it had several of my favorite all time players in it either...

Thats awesome. The triple sticks are a much cooler idea for the stick rack set than the big single stick cards.

Hey, I like that analogy! And you are right, it IS much better to include multiple players on cards like this as opposed to the single player design we have today...at least IMHO.
