Has anyone else noticed the "Season's Greetings" intro to the ITG website? The past two days I've visited the site I've been met with a flash intro page that shows a wrapped gift with text that says something like "Have a Superlative Season" or something to that effect.

Looks like Superlative will be back in 2009. If so, it should be another outstanding product like last year's.

It's a Javascript Splash Screen. It'd be nice to see another Superlative release.

I own only one Superlative card, and it's a real gem. An Henri Richard autograph. If they do it again, I may not be able to afford much of it, but it sure is pretty to look at.

I bought some singles but the boxes were out of my budget.

Yeah, I think that was a major sticking point with the first Superlative release. The cards were EXCELLENT quality, but imo, the box price was a touch too high (by about $100-$150 a book, I'd say...)

that being said, I would gladly welcome another Superlative set, just no more Ray Emery cards this time, ok?

It's just too expensive for me and many others. I'd LOVE to get some, though. I'd REALLY like a Bryan Little card or anyone else in my sig.

I got all the Habs first overall pick cards /9 from the last superlative... or so I think I got Hamrlik and Lafleur all for under $20 while I coudln't even get Stefan for 20! Needless to say I wouldn't mind another superlative. I hope they do more crossover sports stuff like they did in Ultimate 8.

ITG Superlative Montreal Canadiens Centennial Edition!

It would more likely be "ITG Superlative Montreal Centennial Edition!" or Habs Edition

Man, I can just imagine how much of a kick *** job ITG would do over UD with handling the Centennial Edition

The vintage alone kicks UD arse! Let them use NHL licensed names and logos and you've got your winner for set of the year!
