Bad News on this I think.
I spoke with a rep from Upper Deck at the Toronto Expo who gave me his card (I haven't written yet). He said we have to find out through the NHLPA how many cards were sent out and that UD had nothing to do with it and did not keep numbers.
Just what I DIDN"T want to hear but not exactly a surprise considering how the process played out. On that note, I kind of took it with a grain of salt as I knew there was a chance that someone else at UD might have a different answer. We'll see. I'm hope that Beckett is all over this for the next mag and wouldn't be surprised to see an article and price increases now that the cards are out. However the prices will not reach prior prices without redemption numbers which is what made these so popular in the first place. You would think UD would know that and make sure that it was done right so I am just keeping my fingers crossed. I must say I was happy to get all the cards I redeemed with no mix ups and none missing!
