It's Golf Season - Big Hits

We stopped buying hockey many moons ago, just wasn't the same fun it used to be. My son now loves golf so we decided to get some wax. What an eye opener golf wax is compared to hockey. There is no comparison between SPGU Golf and SPGU Hockey. The golf product makes hockey look like Collectors Choice or MVP. Needless to say, we were super happy with the SPGU Golf, SPA not so much but I've never been a fan of SPA Hockey either. Way too many base packs and garbage filler for my taste. We lucked out with the Rory redemption and Annika /10, but the rest of the case was pretty bland. Not even a dual auto in an entire case, but I've learned not to expect much when opening SPA. That's all for now, seriously considering getting another case or two of SPGU Golf, it is such a fun rip and these are just the bigger hits. We have a TON of hits not scanned that could fill up another 30-40 scans of nice hits from SPGU, it was so much fun opening that stuff and it is a great value rip. Thanks

Some pretty nice, and big hits there, T!!! Even several of the jersey cards have some heavy hitters like Stewart, Nicklaus, and Palmer etc. You did quite well. The only thing I wish is that Annika still signed her full name instead of just Annika now. You have to go back to 2005, or earlier for the full signature. Same goes for Sergio, he only signs Sergio now, and you have to go back to 2001-02 to get his full auto.

I too have been buying a lot of golf singles lately, as I'm tired of hockey stuff. I just picked up the Graeme McDowell out of 199 like your Rory, off COMC. You may have some luck finding ones you need if you haven't already looked there. Thanks for sharing these great additions. :beer:
