Iverson traded to Nuggets!

hmm... a lot of people thought he would end up there. he will definitely help, especially since smith and anthony are suspended right now.

The Nuggets will be a tough team once they get back J.R. Smith and Carmelo Anthony from their suspensions. This will be a team to watchout for. It will take time.

Not sure either Smith or Carmelo will be pleased to have a ball hog on the court with them.....watch Carmelo's ppg drop like a rock.

Iverson will be poision to that team. The nuggets were a great up and coming team, they had role players, a great guard and a great star go to guy.....Booooo!! I dislike the trade but I guess on a positive side he didn't go with my Bulls or the Raptors Yeah!!
 
i heard about this and i just laughed. the last thing the nuggets need is another problem on their team. but it will be fun to see the leagues to 2 scorers on the same team
and try to imagine iverson in a nuggets uniform. looks wierd
 
Stephen A. Smith said AI will be a great asset to the Nuggets and instead of hurting Melo, he will make him more lethal, and he will show that he is not selfish like he was in Philly

Agreed...guess he will save them like he did the USA team when he played for them. Hogs don't help teams....thug hogs hurt them even more hahaha. IMO Philly did alright in the deal.
 
When I saw what Denver gave up tonight I fell over literally. Andre Miller is decent--Joe Smith is a write off at 7 million and last year of contract I guess that will just free up cap space at end of season. Two first round picks you never know what you will get with those. Basically my feelings is the 76ers just gave away one of the top players in the league for very little. I can't believe they could not get more for him but I guess maybe that just my opinion.
 
They gave up the biggest ball hog in the league, how can u not see they made an awesome choice. This year is already down the drain for them anyways, so next year when they get those two first round picks it will really help them out a lot, plus they get Andre Miller. And since Smith contract will be up, they can ship him off somewhere else and get a decent trade, or free up more space. I would rather take two first round draft picks, who can play team oriented ball instead of jacking up 10-35 every night.
 
I also think its a fantastic deal. I have to agree with Eric, they get a great guard, 2 draft picks (which they can use or trade) and a decent player in Smith eho they can keep or set free. They will free up a ton of cap space and can build around the young energetic team they currently have. Unless its a 1-1 big name trade this is about as much as you can get for AI. You have to look at the big picture which is a quality player back 2 draft picks and a ton of free cap space....bye bye hog. Iggy should be explosive now with Andre Miller feeding him.
