Jake Allen collection

Hi everyone,
Jake Allen, who's on a roll right now with the St. Louis Blues, is from here in Fredericton. Thanks to In The Game, I was able to start an extensive personal collection of him. Now that he has rookie cards in Upper Deck and Panini products, it's a lot harder to stay on top of his ever-expanding card list.
I appreciate KMitchell for uploading the images for me, and to other HI members for helping me to build this PC. I have roughly 70 Allen cards, with most of the best ones shown here. (His Young Guns 10/10 RC is incoming.)

very nice stuff of the hottest goalie in the league right now. wonder when the Blues are gonna deal Elliott... and if i had gone to the game the other night when he got his first NHL shutout, you would have a ticket stub in the mail to ya.

Thanks for all the comments. The best thing about Jake Allen is he's a down-to-earth, low-maintenance guy. His cap hit to the Blues is $816,666, whereas the Blues have committed $7.5 million to Halak and $3.6 million to Elliott over two seasons (this season and next).
At some point, though, you would thing Elliott would have to go.
Last season, there was a rumour the Blues were going to trade Allen to the New Jersey Devils to try to be the successor to Martin Brodeur, who's now 40 and probably playing his last season.
Brodeur and John Vanbiesbrouck were Allen's goaltending idols growing up.

The guy is playing great, I have seen him interviewed a few times and he really does seem to be down to earth. Nice to see a good young goalie, I hope he keeps up the great play. St Louis will have some difficult decisions to make when it comes to goaltending, they will have to get rid of either Elliott or Allen or maybe even Halak. It looks like Elliott is the easy choice to move but at the same time you have to think of Allen and Halak being a duo. With Halak healthy would Allen see that much of the net? Allen as a Devil would probably be good for Allen and the Devils.

Nice collection so far, keep it up . If you ever come across a few copies of the Joseph/Allen Back to the Future auto /25 from Panini Limited please let me know as I would like one for my collection.

Thanks to Reto, I now have this card in my possession.

Allen isn't featured in this year's Between The Pipes, but I bought a box yesterday and pulled this card in the first pack:

Just be thankful that Allen was in products last year and not this year. You should be able to pick up most if not all of this cards since there were a limited number of products. Awesome PC!
