Jason Demers PC

It has been about 7 months that I got my last addition to this PC so I decided to show you my collection. I guess only card that I can find is 2014-15 OPC Retro that is still missing. It's just sad that I have been collecting Demers about 5-6 years and now I can't find any missing ones. But here's my collection:

Always appreciated your collection, not only because it is great as is, but because it is relatively similar to mine - that is, you know the pain of waiting for a year always before getting that new batch of O-Pee-Chee to hunt for.

Thanks for reply! It was season 2009-10 when Jason Demers debuted with Sharks. He played quite well (51 games 4 goals and 17 assists + playoffs 15 games 1 goal and 4 assists) and I thought that he could be a nice defenseman for Sharks (some people said "poor man's Dan Boyle).

I decided to get some cards of him and collection just got bigger day after day. He played with Sharks 300 regular season games and 39 playoff games but I was a little bit sad when I heard he was traded away. Still collecting and maybe I have to buy some Dallas Stars cards next year

Yeah, it's really hard sometimes. I have thought to sell the whole collection but always something keeps me going and hoping that I will find the missing ones. And it has given so much fun to me and when I bought his first NHL gameworn jersey (in the pic) I decided to keep collecting. And when I met him when he was playing with Oulun Kärpät here in Finland, I got some autographs and saw him playing and scoring a goal and an assist. It was just those memories and every piece of a collection that still keeps me trying.

The good thing is that the collection is already remarkable, that is, I'd be ready to bet no-one has a broader Demers-collection even if that's theoretically possible.

But that's what manufacturers today are going for, you have to select between two options. You can either
1) have a handful of cards each year (O-Pee-Chee + parallels _maybe_ occasionally Series 1/2)
or
2) spend a fortune into the cards that they flood the market with on week-by-week basis

If I have one #1 rant about the hobby, it is this one.

It is possible someone has a better collection because I still miss (if I don't remember wrong) 51 cards. But mostly (45) those missing cards are those printing plates..

Last season was a little bit better, Demers was in OPC and UD Series 1 set. Season 2013-14 Demers wasn't in any Upper Deck's set but Panini saved the year by putting Demers in Score set.
