Did anyone ever visit Johnstown Pennsylvania where "Slap shot" and "All The Right Moves" we're both filmed. Formerly home of the Johnstown Jets.

Yes!

I went there back in 2010..... the final season for the Johnstown Chiefs in the ECHL. Me & a couple of buddies had talked about doing it for a few years (for the obvious Slap Shot connection). The fact that the Chiefs were in their final season, and leaving town, to move to South Carolina - it made it all that more of a thing for us to do (adding that extra parallel with the movie, I mean).

We didn't do a whole lot in town.... went to the game... went and found the dog that saved Johnstown from the flood. Really wanted to go out and have a crazy night @ the Aces, but I think it burned down years ago.

I live about 90 minutes away. It's an old, fairly dead, steel town. There is now a Junior hockey team (NAHL--Tomahawks) playing at the Cambria County War Memorial.

There isn't much to do in Johnstown as far as sightseeing goes. The dog is there (Morley's dog) and some old bars and clubs. Ace's is still there on Chestnut Street. You can also ride the inclined plane up to the highlands of Johnstown as well as visit Point Stadium to see a ballgame (huge amateur tournament held there called AAABA).

I live less than 30 minutes away from Johnstown, go there to watch the Tomahawks (NAHL) play a few times a year!
