I love this guy---main reason why is that he turned down a ten year 100 million dollar contract with the Tigers in 2000...Translation we would have been paying this guy for ten years to do nothing more then sit on the DL....At any rate that is not why I am posting, it seems Juan is trying to make his way back to the majors by playing in the Indep. League. Juan signed and is to report to the Long Island Ducks in the Atlantic League. A great talented player but hit by the injury bug.

He was fantastic while he was with the Rangers and was one of my favorites to don the Rangers uniform.
