Anyways, back to the regularly scheduled hockey card mailpost, for the Canucks RC collection, I picked up this upgrade to the 07/08 Sweet Shot Jannik Hansen Auto /100 - nice to finally get a three colour version.

The only set that received anything in June, was my in progress 00/01 Titanium Game Gear set, and I was able to add two cards to that

Eric Weinrich and Brett Hull/Mike Modano dual

The majority of what I did receive in June was for various PCs

Harold Snepsts - just one addition in the form of the 10/11 Decades auto

Martin Gelinas - 97-98 Omega Ice Blue and Paramount Ice Blue

Trevor Linden - 10/11 Decades GU Jersey Black and 10/11 Contenders Draft Tandems Auto (another Modano) - this time #'d to Modano's jersey # with the (North) Stars.

Alexandre Burrows - 10/11 Pinnacle Artist Proof, Contenders base, UD French press plate and Stanley Cup Final arena card.

Seeing the Linden/Modano dual auto made me think.....I've seen a couple of those where the Modano auto looks to be in black in as opposed to the blue. Have you seen those? Are you considering it a 'variation'?

Okay, I've thought about this for 12 hours or so and I'm leaning towards "no", it's not my fault that he was distracted by Willa and came back and started using a different pen.

I do reserve the right to change my answer tho.

If it was Linden who changed up the pen color......I'd be leaning towards a 'yes'.

Btw, was Trevor not at the draft? No draft pic of him just modano on the back of the card?!

Might be more Modano's soon - I think I have one more on the way and somehow 5 or 6 on the wantlist, so who knows when I'll find those.

Trevor was at the draft - perhaps there wasn't any available photos in Panini's stock. I know ITG has used a draft photo on the back of 03-04 ITG Action First Rounder Draft Picks subset and there's this image of him with Pat Quinn from that day as well.

Damn - how time flies. Still waiting for some of my Decades/Contenders Lindens to arrive still :foottap:. But that dual auto is one of the best things to come out of Panini this year.

I too love that dual auto set. I was pondering the idea of putting the set together when I saw them first... but prices on them and the sticker auto put a damper on the plan. Still beauty cards though.

And Kevin... what other modano's you looking for? Newer stuff? Just curious... I have some modanos that may be available. Feel free to pm me a wantlist if you would like?
