The Odds Maker in me wanted to share my take on the odds of certain events happening in the hobby over the next while... here goes... feel free to post how you would bet if the local casino offered these...

When next NHL license deal comes up, who has a license :

UD exclusive Even

Over on Matthews 11:59 pm Expo Saturday (It's Toronto and people here are stupid full of hope)

Over on Matthews 11:59pm one week after (It's Toronto and I know a few collectors that will have the price up over $150 as they foolishly hoard Matthews, having learned nothing from what happened with McDavid).

I say another UD exclusive as I don't see Topps even wanting back in.

Matthew YG price will be OVER during and after Expo

McDavid Cup rookies $10k+ for 3 colors
 
I will say:

UD / Topps +150 (Just because I like what Topps is doing with the Skate App)

I'll take the Over on both Matthews and it depends on the patch color for the McJesus.
 
My head says an UD only exclusive. Although I think it would be cool to have Topps back in the game too, but somehow I doubt that and won't bet on it. I think it could be a long time until anyone other than UD is licensed.
 
I'll say UD has the Exclusive,
Panini got rid of all there Hockey Mem, Topps would have to start from scratch unless teamed up with Leaf.

Gambling odds. Basically the amount of money you will get on your wager.

$100 +150 means that if you win you get $150.00
$100 - 110 means that if you win you get $90.00

Mostly for Money Line Bets (picking a team to win straight up instead of against a spread).

It's important to note that in the second scenario you get your bet back as well, so you're taking home $190. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense to bet!
A positive means underdog, and a negative means the condition is favored.
If you convert them to a percentage, +150 translates to 40% chance and -110 translates to about 52% chance.
 
- Topps/UD. It's gonna happen. It HAS to happen. Because Topps is sick of my emails the last 10 years. :laugh:

- Over on the Matthews

- As Shawn mentioned it depends on the patch, but I'll say with a 3 color patch, $5000-7499 range on that date.
