Just Showin' Off Some Wood Here...

Every now and then i like going through my collection and just admiring my favourite cards in my collection. I've always been a fan of stick memorabilia, so i decided it was time to do a lumber show and tell! Here are my 20 favourite stick swatches in my collection! Feel free to show off some of yours in this thread too. Would love to see em!

First off: A beauty Tangs piece & a Flames trio. The Flames piece doesn't have the best swatches, but they are 3 of my fav Flames legends



Next up is a nice Beezer that was a very generous gift from sedinfan when he did a Stickwork case break! Thanks again! And a Theo Stickwork piece!



I love the ITG Stickwork cards! I picked up both the Teemu & Al at my local trade night



I like all the small writing on the Koivu & The Datsyuk is a stick piece from the NHL prospects game



It's too bad they couldn't put a pic of Iggy on these cards, but some pretty decent stick swatches here!



Grabbed the Zetterberg at lcs trade night, and a beauty vintage piece of Henderson on eBay



I've managed to pick up quite a few nice cards at trade night, including this crazy Lidstrom card! And i grabbed this Iggy on eBay



A couple nice signed sticks, The Nieuwendyk has a pretty cool stick piece & the Mullen is pretty plain but i like the look of the clean auto on a blank stick



I picked up the Kipper in a trade with Benthic on HI. Thanks again for a smooth deal! The Iggy is a beauty, with a portion of the "synergy" on the Easton stick



And i know i've posted these before, but to finish off, two Property of's! I picked up my first two stick nameplate's in 2015 and I'm pretty excited to have them in my collection!

Jason, That MacInnis is sweet! Thanks for sharing. The only way I'll move the Hudler is if I find an Iggy Property of or shield. Then I'd be willing to sell the Hudler to fund it!

I'm a huge fan of stick cards, often get a lot more variety in terms of the visual appeal than the same old jersey / patch pieces.

So many nice ones in your show, several with the "E" logo, very cool, I just picked up an Yzerman for my Masterpieces that's incoming with the same thing, had to have it as an upgrade even though I already had a decent card

Just visually love the piece on this Johansen

Not sure if the "ESP" is a poor man's Property Of, or if it comes from some other word entirely, but either way it's just plain cool on the Esposito card

Hard to beat the iconic CCM logo

And of course the Great One with a nice chunk of an Easton Aluminum

From the Sedin PC, love that I was able to put together the matching pair of the first Property Of for both twins...

Believe this one's a nice piece of a Jofa from an Ultimate Memorabilia Gold FantaStick 1/1

A nice little tape piece from Stick Work including what looks like a 33 written on Hank's stick...

And while I've got the Gretzky and the Orr from this set too, probably my favourite is the Maurice Richard since they can actually use his picture - the Lord Stanley's Mug 1/1
