So I got up bright and early this morning (for work) and managed to make it to the monthly Bonsor show as a result, where............
Eddie sold me this for the Sakic PC..............

OT Cards Derek gave me this.......

......and Derek the Red brought along an eBay win............

And even Kevin showed up and brought along an eBay win from November from a US seller who wouldn't ship up north.......

WHY AM I STILL BUYING KESLERS???????? Sigh. Anyways, that plate gives me the full rainbow now

Speaking of eBay, I have bought THREE things since I decided to quit the hobby for the umpteenth time back at the end of November-ish, and you have to admit that's pretty good for an addict.......

OK, on to the karma. I have this buddy on Twitter, lives in NowheresVille Texas. No card stores for hundreds of miles in any direction, not that it should really matter in our modern-age interwebz society, but whatever. He's a HUGE Cowboys & Stars & soccer fan, so we have absolutely nothing to talk about hahahaha. He's also a set collector, and he's trying to put together all the recent OPC sets. Now, I have five 5000-ct boxes stuffed with crap, including OPC base. So every now and then I cram as many cards into a giant bubbler and send it off to him. The thing is, a bubbler full of OPC base cards is like getting socks for Christmas - useful but boringggggg. So I try to find a little something at the shows as well..........
Today, I found these for a whopping ten bucks......

And then, the table in the corner. A brand-new, first-time-at-the-show seller.
99% soccer cards in one-touches and screw-downs and binders, 1% hockey in screw-downs and top-loaders. I bought buddy what turned out to be an overpriced base card.......

And then I took a look at the hockey.......... all maybe ten or twelve of them in their grungy little containers, some with price stickers proclaiming the BV, some with nothing at all. I pulled two cards off the table and asked "How much would ya like for these?" and he took a look and said "Forty bucks?" and I gave him forty bucks, yessir!!!
And for forty bucks I got..............

How often do you see UD Stanley Cup Champs relics? NOT VERY OFTEN, that's how often.
And.................................

Right then, Amy's mom broke her shoulder last night, so we're off to rescue her car from the sweat lodge. Yes, you read that right.
