KINGS Recalled JONATHAN BERNIER

i would rather bernier get the start also and am happy he is. bernier has been amazing all year in the AHL and gives the team a better chance at winning than ersberg and his 6 starts haha.

Surprisingly, I would like to see Bernier start and win and even score a goal. Anything to make the Kings move Ersberg to a team where he can start, *cough* Ottawa. :D

I'm slightly dillusional though. ;)
 
As a goalie fan and huge fan of pretty much every Junior Team Canada goaltender, I'm ecstatic that he gets the start tonight. This will be my second full Kings game that I watch this season. Canadiens being the other night, you all remember that one right? :laugh:

bernier knew he would be in manchester the whole year no matter how great he plays unless there is an injury. even now he is only up because quicks wife had their baby today so this is only for a few days. there is no point in having him backup quick in la when he can get the full load in manchester. next year i fully expect him to be up though and battle quick for the #1.
 
Just trade him, Quick is the real deal, and you don't need 2 starters. There would probably be a very good return for either. How quickly things change in a year, 12 months ago, LA had next to no goaltending, now they have two very good young goalies. And Ersberg.
