Kirill Kaprizov new contract!

Just read on Fox News the Kirill Kaprizov just signed the largest contact in NHL history. According to Fox, $136 million for 8 years.

In my opinion, the Wild overpaid for this contract, but I totally understand that Kaprisov was looking to get the maximum, he will be old at the end of the contract, and if he signs another deal, that will be post-prime for far less money. It was its chance to make money.

Those Dazzler Autos are pretty cards in person. Nice Kaprizovs!

I think the Wild overpaid because of his age, it is a little bit surprising to me, the amount. But he is a great player and has to be good for at least the next 5-6 years at least and if Minnesota is ever going to be making a run this would be their most opportune time so it all makes sense.

I welcome the new season. Except Red Wings still suck.

AS usual Ron, some great cards BUT his contract is currently not team friendly unless the CAP is an asset to the TEAM down the road.
