Kobe vs Mavs

I don't follow basketball much but did Kobe rip a new one in the Mavs last night. That is amazing that he had 62 points and the Mavs had 61 after 3 quarters. He should of played the 4th to try and get Bayler's record. Anybody watch this game?

No but I heard about it, and I even have to give Kobe his props, even though had ZERO assists, what a ball hogg! I would of liked to even see him go past a hundred, cause something like that doesn't happen very often....but yeah great game for kobe, scoring wise anyways

Yep I dont understand why any of the mavs could stop him, I mean when the guy had 37 points in the first half why not just double him! instead they gave him that 3 point shot which he can hit from DEEP. Didnt make sense to me why let the hot hand keep shooting! Granted a few times hes still going to get his shot but with 1 on 1 matchup when hes really feeling it its just plain stupid!

Avery said they doubled teamed him through and he sliced right through and made the shots and went to the line like that, so I dunno?

Do you remeber the Bulls/Trailblazers Finals game when Jordan lit it up in the first half. I think he scored 35. I would have to say Jordan's performance in one half was alot better than Kobes. That was an amazing Finals game.

I wish I had watched that game now, was watching the Pistons play before that game and Bill Laimbeer was doing TV with George Blaha and Bill was talking about Lakers have no chance in that game. I would not argue either Dallas is def. a better team. Kobe must have been not only in the zone but on another planet. Did I hear right he had no asst? I can't really blame him for shooting but as a teammate unless the whole team was totally into letting him score that much I would not have been to happy. Ball hogs are no fun to play with, I love to have em on my team as I play the point and make sure everyone gets the ball hahaha except a ball hog if they on my team. I give Kobe props for that game but only one game on the schedule..Dallas will get the last laugh in the playoffs if Lakers even get that far.
