Kolzig Customs from DnJcards

With Kolzig cards coming few and far between lately (hint, hint Upper Deck and LeafGregg), I decided to contact DnJcards to get some of my ideas made into custom cards. The results were even better than I imagined.

I want to send a big thank you to DnJcards for making these great additions to my Kolzig collection.






First is a quad patch booklet featuring four of my favorite Capitals goaltenders – Don Beaupre, Olaf Kolzig, Semyon Varlamov and Michal Neuvirth

I have always wanted a card with Kolzig represented as a Capital, as an All-Star, and as a member of Team Germany. I love the way these cards turned out! Here is the jersey version…

…and the patch version

Finally, when Panini released their Armory cards, I was hoping that Kolzig would be included in the set. He wasn’t, so I had one made! The card has game worn/used pieces of jersey, patch, stick, blocker, glove and leg pad, and it looks awesome.
