Kopitar Champs Auto redemption from Germany?

Received my Kopitar auto today. The envelope had the Morrisville, NC return address but was post-marked from Frankfurt, Germany?

Anyone know the story behind that?

I believe that UD sends their Canadian redemptions in bulk to Germany and sends them from there to save shipping costs. It sounds counter intuitive, but rates from the US to Canada are so high these days.

Deutche Post is their standard mail delivery to all points outside of the US - they do bulk rates on international mail - so that's why you might see a longer time frame to arrive for those redemptions that don't require Fed Ex delivery
