Kopitar Shield 1/1 Replacement Mail Day - How did I do?

I am not a big RC collector. I dont think what they sent you is horrible but they do nothing for me so they would just be ebayed or trade bait.

It's a photoshoot jersey, and he plays in LA to boot. Sorry, but on a card like that if I'm an UD higher up, I'm doing everything I can to get the card made. If that means taking an authentic jersey, driving to the practice facility, handing Kopi the jersey and asking him to put in on for a picture, well, that's what I'd do. But that's just me, I wouldn't want something like this to happen and have more mud flying my way if I'm UD.

I am waiting for the day the card surfaces, I have a feeling it is in someones hands as we speak, no matter what they say.

That's what a good caring company would do but we are talking about UD here. Which is why I'm surprised they didn't just find an old Kings jersey lying around and say it was from Kopitar then slap a sticker on it and voila a 1/1!!

By the way sorry to get off topic you did get hosed and what you are doing with the cards is quite charitable. You'll be rewarded somewhere down the road...Thumbs up to you..

Visited the local money pit today. The shopkeep is doing the SPX set, and needed all 4. He wanted the Crosby YG's too. Most of what I got back was trade and some future consideration for upcoming wax, but 10% of the cash I got today will still be donated to the Baby Chatfield Trust fund.

I would have asked for 10 Crosby Young guns. Got them graded and crossed my fingers for one to turn out as a 10.

sub par imo, just because of all the replacements I've seen in the past, you probably did better than 90% of the replacements I've seen.

Even though it is a 1/1, thats something UD most likely can't replace. Would've been better if they added a couple more YG's for you though.

I think if UD paid a little more attention to the secondary market they wouldn't screw as many people as they have before.
