You rarely see these things become available for sale. Bought and sold quickly. Not sure what the seller was thinking, bad scan and low buy it now.

Still fairly low for that card. You just never see it available. But yeah, the scan is HORRIBLE lol

And it surfaces again being sold by the Russian equivalent of SportsCardsHaven. This guy buys up rare stuff all the time and marks it so high it never sells and refuses to budge on prices. He’s been sitting on most of his cards for years.

Frustrating to see a great card lost to one of these morons.

Sad to see any card held hostage like that. It's a shame.

Yup, selling Dmitri Kvartalnov Classic autos at $49.99 a piece.

This guy has a lot of shields and cut autos tied up. A lot of rare Russian player stuff too. Is he just showing off his PC or does he actually think these cards will sell?

He's basically THE Russian consigner on eBay. He lists thousands of cards for sale for others and hopes that eventually someone will bite. He's not a scammer, ships fast and is extremely forceful trying to make deals happen but he never cuts anyone a deal. If a PC card ends up in his hands it'll stay there unless you want to pay 10 times what it sold for.

I had won an auction a while back for a Scott Stevens card. After that, he e-mailed me asking what I collect. No harm done. But he tried selling me a couple of Scott Stevens cards well above what someone would be willing to pay. This one is a great example. He used to have it listed for a lot more, but the current price is still up there. First, he tried calling it a patch, but it's a jersey. I got a Messier/Stevens 1 of 1 from this set in the $30-$40 range, so I certainly wasn't about to pay north of $200 for this. For me personally, when a seller's asking price is that high, I don't even bother because even a fair offer is going to look like a lowball compared to the listing price.

He'll play the long game too. He'll disappear for 6 months or a year and come back and ask again about a card that he hasn't been able to sell. I will say that the one deal I agreed to went smoothly. I believe he asked for Paypal Friends and Family, but had no problem when I insisted on Goods and Services and a couple of extra dollars. His feedback suggests he's pulling off some deals, but I haven't checked what the BIN sell price has been.

The comparison to SportsCardHeaven is apt. SCH seems to specialize in taking rare, low-numbered inserts and parallels of non-stars and jacking up the prices to high end. This seller seems to take high end cards and jack up the prices to the stratosphere.

Pretty sure this Russian guy was a member on here several years ago and was a pain to deal with. Low balled on anything of interest and sold very high. Pretty sure he was eventually banned.

Oh yeah, that guy--he has some high dollar Jagr cards locked up forever. No one will EVER pay those prices, and I know some of the biggest spenders in the Czech Republic from my recent sales.

He was banned when he was "TNG" and came back with this new account "LeoNityrigi". Thankfully he hasn't signed on in some time.
