Krieder Cards?

Huge Krieder fan since his 1st game with the Rangers lol.
I am kind of excited to buy some of his cards, i was wondering how much you guys think his cards are going to sell for?
Compared to some players like Hall or Skinner or some better young guys, will Krieders cards sell for more or less?
Also which product will have his first cards Artifacts?

OPC and Score may have his first cards, followed by Artifacts ect. My personal opinion is that his cards are going to be in the same range or better as the first Cody hodgson cards that hit the market last year, then depending how he does in the reg season his will gain or loose value.

At his peak, Hodgson was going for insane $$$. Doubt Hagelin hits that mark unless he's top 2 for the Calder race.

That said, I'd probably put him in the realm of Louis Leblanc/Sean Couturier cards

I don't think he is comparable to Hodgson.

Or I should say, he is only comparable to Hodgson right now as a Sabre.

When Hodgson was a Canuck, he had a huge following. Canadian city, top team in the NHL, and really hyped up prospect in the organization when he was drafted here.

I'm not saying NYR doesn't have a huge following, but people in Vancouver were literally waiting for years for Hodgson cards to pop up.

Hagelin's cards were going for a lot because he didn't have an autographed card until Contenders, and they were going for over $50 the 1st week. YG's were going for around $20 the 1st couple of weeks as well.

Kreider will be in the early sets so he'll have more cards out by then, but I still think Kreider will fetch a decent amount. He was one of the top players for the Rangers in the playoffs and fans want to believe he can hit 25-30 goals this year.

I'll go with the YG since it's one of the main RC's to get, but even if he has just a decent start, I think his YG's will start selling around $40 or so and then ease down to $20.

Kreider will have the traditional NYR following that is exhibited for young prospects like Staal was when he came to the NHL. If he does good right off the bat and isn't sent back down to the minors in the first 20 games he may pick up steam from the hobby if he continues to be the force that he was this past year. I'd say Hodgson's price range will be a good standard in the books.

If memory serves me right, Hodgson was a first round pick that was sent back to the juniors after his draft year camp, got hurt the next season but played decent to that point, the following year Vancouver thought he was good enough to play in the minors for some molding and he had one of those more nagging type of injuries that slowed his progress again until he made the team before last year...Yip Collector had it right...years! Sometimes the skill is worth the wait. He will be one of the better impact players for Buffalo and will be a leader for a few years for the club.
