Continuing my last several month of graded pickups, mostly concentrating on 90's stuff that I collected as a kid.

Starting off with a super rare pickup (in high grade at least) is this Joe Thornton UD Ice rookie in my favorite BGS 9.5 slab. Super lower pop and hard to find in gem mint slabs.

Kinda random pickup but I loved this set as a kid and when a PSA 10 Mario popped up I knew I wanted it. Love this set design. Probably try to put together the run of super starts in high grade form now.

I've also been slowly upgrading to True Gem BGS 9.5's where possible. Nice to knock Selanne off that list.

Also grabbed a couple extra Lidstrom UD rookies, including the slightly more coveted French version. I've sorta steered away from tracking down the early UD cards in French as I dont personally see the appeal. But if I can get on at a decent price I've been picking them up.

Cool pickup from everyones favorite hobby content creator... needed the Brodeur Score Cdn and Bondra Young Guns (both tough to track down in BGS 9.5 slabs) so this worked out great. Thanks Jeremy!

Still on the search for a Jagr Proset in a BGS 9.5 slab... but in the meantime I've picked up a couple PSA slabs. Love the look of this card and its a tougher graded and low pops across the board (most likely due to its low value).

Another rarer BGS 9.5 90 Upper Deck rookie in Felix Potvin. Grabbed in and a trio of OPC Premier true gems from a local collector/dealer. Worked out great for me!

Picked this pair up from board member Ameet during the last Sports Card Expo. I want both of these in BGS 9.5 slabs but they just dont exist. The search continues.

This was a trio of pickups randomly off ebay.... 2 super cool 90's insert cards and another 90's rookie that I'm still searching for in BGS 9.5 form.

Lemiuex Ultra Power

Jagr SP Die-Cut (love, love, love this set design)

And the Fedorov OPC Red Army, looking for this in BGS 9.5 form still!

Canada Post lost the last Fleury OPC BGS 9.5 I bought but was able to track down another one. Super cool set design and pairs up nicely with my Saki 9.5

And another True Gem upgrade. Jagr UD BGS 9.5

And I posted several months ago that I picked up a 53 Parkhurst Gordie Howe, well I was finally able to pair it up with a PSA 4 Richard from the same set. Love this card. Such a cool design and frankly I don't even care about the low grade.

Need to get them in matching slabs once the wait times die down a bit.

Another random ebay pickup.... we're sure going to miss Gio in Calgary...sigh...

Have one of these at Beckett getting graded but figured why not grab am extra copy. Cool photo, great player and hugely underrated IMO.

Grabbed some extra Kariya for a good price. Who doesn't need triples of cards lol

And my last card which I've been searching for the last year. Always got outbid and missed out on a couple copies. With Ovie prices surging I ponied up and got it done haha. Pairs up nicely with my Crosby Ultra BGS 9.5. Now I'm on the search for a 'reasonably' priced Ovie Ultra Gold Medallion BGS 9.5.

Thats all for now!!! Cheers everyone and happy collecting.

Damn what a nice array (that Thornton ! :jawdrop:) Congrats man! I may have some 9.5’s from the 90s, will drop you a pm.
Thanks, yea that Thornton is sweet! And Thanks for the couple extra 9.5s too!

Wow, so many great cards! :)
Thanks!

Love the BGS gold labels.

Nice cards!
Yup me too, thanks!

Wow that's a haul!
Yea I'd say I've slowed down the last several months but still some really awesome cards in there.

That was a fun show! Congrats!
Thanks!

More BGS Gold! Really enjoying seeing this collection come together. Congrats on the pick-ups.
Thanks Neal! I really need to get all them laid out together for a picture, I'm amassed a large amount of BGS 9.5's in the last year.

Nice stuff. Is that Thornton with or without the peel?
Thanks. I actually forgot those cards were peel-able. I'm pretty sure its peeled. Didn't the protetive film look really bad on these cards out of the pack? Like was worst then the old chrome cards with film?

Awesome grades right here!
Thanks bud!
