Not quite the Ovechkin... my MeiGray box arrived yesterday. I got a Ted Donato Islanders jersey. Looking at the season stats for the year the jersey was worn, 1 Game Played!
I Wikipedia'd Donato, the most interesting thing I could find was that he was the second ever pro hockey player to go on the gameshow The Price Is Right but, he is the first to win his way on-stage, making it to the Showcase Showdown! In case you were wondering Christian Larrivée of the Long Beach Ice Dogs (ECHL) appeared, winning over $20,000 in Plinko.
The best thing about the whole experience was that, because I work away I had Mrs Enforcersonly open the box and reveal the jersey to me. After she'd done that she (without prompting) started inspecting it for (her words, not mine) "Puck marks, board burns and general grime". She also went on to point out that I wouldn't like it as there was no blood!
As Bert said earlier... alot of ouch in there!
*snicker*, and several of the Ovie sticks have been claimed. I have not yet seen the Bobrovsky...
