So far what do you think of team,are they gonna make the play-offs?
every point counts in todays NHL and tonight was a good effort to obtain atleast 1 point although The Buds did dominate the 3rd but had not luck other then the tying goal..

also is anyone else just as happy as I ,not seeing #28 out there anymore
aswell with #8

also did anyone catch the game last night against the Sabres
I was at a family fuction,being the black sheep of the family these are always fun !

was the game good, did Toronto look good ?
I heard they played well

I saw the game... only missed 1 game this year and it was because I was at a wedding. I typically watch every.single.period. every season so if you ever need to know anything, I'm your man (missed less then 10 games total the last 5 seasons or so).

Anyways, the first period the Leafs played very well. In fact they outplayed the Sabres by a small margin. Likely a 55-45 split type of period. Raycroft let a soft one in but buckled down right after.

The second period was all Leafs. Shots were 17-5 if I remember correctly. Paul Maurice has these guys skating and shooting... something they completely lacked last season. Period was an 80-20 split in favour of the Leafs.

3rd period went to the Sabres but thats expected when they are down 3 goals at home and the Leafs take 4 (or was it 5?) minors (including a 5 on 3). All things considered the Leafs played fairly well this period but the advantage was like 60-40 Sabres.

Overall, the Leafs didn't dominate but they were the better team by far. No question. They deserved the full 2 points and Buffalo definitely didn't deserve one.

that game on saturday night was the first leaf game I had missed since the 94 season when they played in LA ,the reason I missed that game was the Bar I went to could not pick up the satelite feed from La that night
if you remember ,back in early 90'2 late 80's
not all games were televised

I am liking the Leafs this year. If they keep playing hard every night and don't suffer any major injuries they should be okay. I don't see them winning the cup but they are looking alot better then I thought they would. Maurice has everyone playing hard and finishing their checks. Raycroft and Peca have been great additions and all the young kids are playing hard. Should be a fun year.

I watched all the Sabres game and they looked good. I wouldn't say great but they skated hard and Buffalo looked tired, the Leafs deserved the win.
