I have a friend who is featured in this upcoming product from leaf. I saw his jersey piece on a card from the leaf twitter site previewing the set.
How ever he has not been paid to be in this set.
What's my course of action??

If they are only displaying his jersey and not his picture there isn't much your friend can do

They don't need permission from the athlete if they are just using his jersey. They bought it, so it's their property.

Yes, it will be very interesting to find out who his friend is. Are you assuming the jersey used on whomever his friends card is isn't real? And by the way, I have collected cards for over 30. To answer something you mentioned from an earlier thread. You really seem intent on bashing Leaf. No worries.

I may get pissed, but I never run and I get over it easy. Everyone has reasons they collect or don't collect a certain product. If you aren't sold on Leaf, maybe you never will be and that's ok! You need to collect what makes you happy. If you enjoy vintage pieces you can't get anywhere else with beautiful designs, Leaf is your bag baby!

Now worries! Yes, we do not use the players image on the card, however, we do have memorabilia have him. I think this card in question is a Blackhawks goalie card. This also has a few other players without images.
