Been a while, haven't posted much but do a bit of lurking
. Got myself one of those new borns everyone is talkin' bout' these days so she is priority. She be 4 months old now and is the best thing in my life! Card board has been pretty much on hold for the last year or so now. The only way I still stay in the loop is from hanging out with Chadsexington, Shaboobala, Beebop, Burebuyer and JZ and such watching UFC and things. And even now it seems like they are speaking a different language talking about the new releases 
. It's amazing how disconnected you can get if your not on the forums, shows and ebay enough!
There are 2 things that I have been consistant with though. My Matt Cooke collection, and my contact with Brett Miles (bamlinden)....
Brett is a one of a kind dude and I hope to get to hit the links and hack up a golf course or 2 with him one day
. Brett has made me a variety of insane customs I have showed off here. All sorts of amazing custom cuts! Here is a sample of some of the stuff he has made form me in the past:
As you can see, he clearly has a gift! ITG, Pannini, UD, etc.. Take note!
So over the last few months, Brett and I talk about stuff. He's still got a few autographs of mine, including a nice ticket stub. The stub is something significant in hockey history, Leafs history to be exact. And the 2 autos are also neat pieces in my collection, IP autos I collected at a old timers game back in the early 90's if I recall correctly. Brett decided because of the significance of the stub, he wanted to do something extra special with it. Any how, on to the 3 new additions to my custom cut PC:
Ab McDonald cut autograph. East Coaster! With a nice Classic Original Six design. As per usual, a fantastic job once again, Brett!
Wilf Paiement cut autograph. This is cool! Love the design and the old Rockies colors look amazing on this card. Truly unique!!!
Both are amazing additions, but the "cock of the walk" of this post is this:
1967 Stanley cup finals Leafs game 3 vs. Montreal ticket stub! Significant because it is from the last Stanley Cup the Leafs have ever one. My mom went to this game and kept the stub all these years. Brett created a work of art! The scan doesn't tell the whole story though so I will explain a bit more. The card is actually thick. Like a nice fat patch card from The Cup or something. And it is actually like a shadow box as the stub is recessed deep into the back of the card. Its hard to tell from the scan, but it is. That is why the stub looks a bit blurry. The detail Brett put into this out of this world. His write up's on the card backs are so well done! Love it! I don't know how you could top this one!!!
Brett, this Leafs 1967 Cup finals cut is the new center piece of my collection!!! My mom will love it when I show it to her too!!! Many thanks and I owe you big time.
