Can someone explain to me what this set is? Are they buyback autos? A brand new set? Old set with new cards?

Its a 1997 crossover set from football that was VERY popular with football collectors. Hopefully it translates ad well with hockey collectors.

It's also a cross year set. There are 30 in this years Ultimate, next year will be 30 more, but of different players (same design) etc. I think they said it was expect to last for the next 5 years.
