I averaged Tin Mans last 4 years, I did not bend anything at all. But it is rather comical that you failed to mention the most important glaring stat of all that I quoted. ZERO GOALS IN HIS LAST 28 PLAYOFF GAMES...ZERO! Well w/o the Maple Leafs making the playoffs that stat could be easily overlooked.

Also fact...as I know people who witnessed it...he got punched out at Millers Fundraiser then tried to spin it that he fell dancing...FACT!

Good luck, but when he says everyone "hated him here", well if he had performed do you think that that maybe a different case?

I'll take Leino heads up anyday...I'll even throw in a case of tape for Toronto to try and keep the Tin Man on the ice.

Aside from that 3 year span from 06-07 to 08-09 he has been relatively healthy his entire career. In his ten year career he has played at least 63 games in 7 of the ten years. Only once has he not played in at least 48.

I will address it if you want. The Leafs need to get there first. We likely wont make the plaoffs next year and then maybe we can secure a spot in 12-13. By that point he will have 3 months left on his deal. Also we dont need him to score at all. We have 4 guys that scored at least 20 last year and with Lupul being healthy he may be close to that as well.

I really dont mind Leino as a player its just that at that salary id stay away and especially when it has that kind of term to it. What you're not realizing is that Connolly is a bandaid for us to bridge the gap between the youth we have upcoming. If he plays well then great if not no big deal. Even with that 2 game season he is averaging 40 points a year in his career. 2 of his top 3 seasons have come in the last 3 years and the last 3 years are 3 of his top 5 overall point totals per year.

Plus now he wont kill us anymore. Everytime we played Buffalo we usually got killed and he usually lead the charge.

Oh I realize it, I just can't justify $9M for a stop-gap, bandaid 3rd line center production is all. He has no heart, actually more cowardly lion than the tin man I reckon.
