...here. If you'll be good enough to notice 2 things:

1) I have just moved into the #3 spot in the trader ratings :D, and
2) The top three spots are now held by primarily-hockey related traders :)

I think that speaks mountains for the quality of trading on this site, and primarily the hockey section. I have dealt with a few people on the other sections of the boards, and if they are a sample of the whole, this entire site deserves a huge round of applaus, both for the quality of the members, and the moderators who maintain that high level of quality within the members.

Just thought I'd bring that up to try and raise the spirits around here as football season dies down and there is no hockey to take the place that has just been emptied.
 
I say we send some invites to GOOD members from other sites that they are welcomed to join this community.

If you know of a good trader on another board that doesn't currently reside here, tell them they are more then welcomed to join.

Helps make this site even better

I've been doing precisely that ANYWAYS - I've sent a few invites to outstanding members in other locales. I intend to send MORE.
 
Congrats CJ, and all the other Hockey members! :D It's awesome to have found such a great site to trade, talk, whatever. :D

BTW: CJ, if you wanna get to 100 feedback you happen to have a nice Stajan Pristine mini I'd be interested in. ;) I think I've asked you about it before, but didn't really have anything to trade. I still don't, but I do have some extra Stajans and stuff if you'd take tradebait for it. :)
 
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH mine is only 3!!!??? thats equivilent to those of "wall of shame". I have %100 positve though... strange

You only get on the "Wall of Shame" if you have a negative.

However, if you want to raise that three, PM me and we'll try to make a deal happen :)

You only need to go to the home forum page, and see how many people are viewing the hockey forum compared to the rest of the forums.

There's constantly 15-20+ members on the hockey forums, while I'd say there's not that many on the rest of the forums combined.

not to start anything up but:

A. There seemed to be a mass exodus of BKB collectors at a certain point, not as many around, most moving on to other sites.
B. It seems more often that BKB wont trade just base or inserts while you guys will do that more often with HK.
C. When the mass exodus of HK collectors came over here, it did push out some people(old issue, nothing else needs to be said about it)
D. Bajit leaving might have also played a role in BKB collectors leaving. I remember hearing from a few people they should just rename HI Hockey Insider because of him leaving and the lack of BKB collectors.
E. Literally no BB or FB traders on here.

Basically what I am trying to say is it shouldnt be a surprise as to why you have so many up there, plenty of people have gone elsewhere or just left the hobby outright and the few that remain dont trade often with each other.

Hilarious. I especially enjoyed point B. Ask the top five hockey guys how many trades they've made consiting of "base or inserts".

Nobody's trying to compete here. It takes a helluva lot of work to make that many successful trades. Let's just recognize that list for what it is -- good peoples.
 
I'm gonna bump this one shamelessly to enjoy a brief moment in the sun: I have now bumped Vegaspuck from the top of the heap, and am now the feedback leader. :D
 
To tell you guys the truth, I'd love to start collecting Basketball or baseball [ducks flying tomatoes] but the truth is, I find it hard enough keeping up with hockey the way I'd like to, time and cash wise, and to jump into a new sport with no previous experience is really daunting.

Maybe sometime in the future I can use the other forums, but for now, hockey is where I'm at.

When i join one moth ago I remark that most of the god traders list were hocke traders. I should have joined ealier, I'm up to trade 140 in my files, I'm sure some of those were with member HI.
